Dorothy Graham

Dorothy Marie Graham, age 92, passed away February 27, 2018 in Kalamazoo, MI. Dorothy was born June 19, 1925 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Reuben and Gladys (Masta) Primeau. She was a resident of Royal Oak, MI and Escanaba, MI, before relocating to the Kalamazoo area 1994. Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and had been very active with the Portage Senior Center for many years. She was a lifelong walker and was active with Portage Peddlers for many years. She loved her bicycle trip through Austria with her friend Val and her trip to Italy with her childhood friend Daisy. On January 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Nick T. Graham, who preceded her in death on April 1, 1996. Her parents; siblings Carole Yunke, Dennis Primeau, Shirley Boatman; and a grandson Bobby Huffman, Jr. also preceded her in death. Surviving are her children Michael (Joanne) Graham, Matthew (Beth) Graham and Lynn Marks (Jeff Barrett); grandchildren Eric Graham, Julie Graham, Cameron Marks, Andrew Marks, Theresa (Russ) Socia; great-grandchildren Heather Socia and Breanna Socia; great-granddaughter Elizabeth; nieces and nephews. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (1150 W. Centre Ave., Portage, MI 49024) with Father Stan, presiding. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time at the church and immediately following the service during a time of food and fellowship in Marion Hall. Interment will be at Ft.
