Doris Ruiter

Passed away Tuesday morning May 29, 2018. Doris was born October 14, 1918 in Orangeville Ml, daughter of John (J.B.) Beattie and Mildred E. (Chapman) Beattie. She was a homemaker who did her own sewing and canning all through her life. Doris' first love was knitting. She knitted many different things for her family and friends. She also loved birds and music of all sorts. She loved flowers of all kinds, her favorite being carnations. What a wonderful cook Doris was. Doris loved watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Also her daily phone calls from her sister Marian until her passing in 2007. Services will be held at 11:00 Monday, June 4, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Comstock Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kairos Dwelling.
