Donovan Ditterline

Donovan Ditterline, age 19, of Kankakee, IL., passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Donovan was born on September 2, 1993 in Kankakee, IL. to David and Tammy (Wallace) Ditterline. He graduated from Herscher High School in 2012. Mr. Ditterline was working at Brennan Construction as a Steel Fabricator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trucks, video games, and cruising with friends.

He is survived by his parents Dave and Tammy Ditterline of Kankakee, IL., sister; Kayla (Randy) Penley of Bradley, IL., four uncles; Darryl Ditterline (daughter Ashley) of Kankakee, IL., Steve Ditterline of Kankakee, IL., Vernon (Vicki) Wallace and family of TX., Randall (Leora) and family of HI., paternal grandmother; Charlotte Ditterline of Kankakee, IL., Girlfriend; Jackie Shearer, two god children, and numerous friends.

He was preceded I death by his paternal grandfather; Donald Ditterline, and maternal grandparents; Blackie and Janelle Wallace.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 3p.m. to 8p.m. at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Home. Service will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10a.m. at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Home. Burial will take place following the service at Bloom Cemetery in Manteno, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family wishes.
