Donnie Reynolds

Age 81, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, with his family by his side. Don was born in Neelyville, Missouri on April 17, 1937, the son of the late Jack and Elsa (Long) Reynolds. He served his country honorably for eight years in the United States Airforce. Don was employed at Checker Motor Company, the Kalamazoo Gazette and Hydro Aluminum. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Don also enjoyed bowling. On April 7, 1966, he was united in marriage to the former Jeanette A. Charlier, who survives. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, a son, Charles (Diana) Reynolds; sisters, Ellen (Mike) Reyes, Jackie (Mike) Minni, Judy (Patty Doran) Christman and Cindy Lake; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Reynolds, Jr.; a daughter, Terry Reynolds; sister, Valdean Howard and brother, Larry Reynolds. A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will take place at First Free Will Baptist Church, 620 Moline St., Kalamazoo, MI 49048, on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 at 12 o'clock noon.
