Donna Smith Mester

Donna Smith Mester was born on July 26, 1941 in Masadonia, Illinois to Guy and Norma Rice Johnson. In 1987 she married Robert Mester and he passed away in 2009. Mrs. Mester worked in the Paint Division at Ace Hardware Distribution Center in Matteson, Illinois and also worked at the Manteno State Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and arranging flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Manteno, Illinois.Donna is survived by her mother of Manteno, daughters; Kim and (Don) Canada of Metropolis, Illinois, Darla and (Phil) Michel of Bourbonnais, Mickie and (Greg) Lacer of Arvada, Colorado and Christina and (Rich) Samuelson of Bourbonnais. She is also survived by her sister; Karen Howdeshell of Kankakee, one sister in law; Mary Johnson and her mother of Manteno, Illinois. Her grandchildren include Kelli Tirey, Darrell Canada, Allison Canada, Misty Fritz, Mandy Schreiner and Cody Samuelson. She is also survivied by nine great grandchildren.
