Donna Regnier

Donna Kay Regnier, of Bourbonnais passed away peacefully at her home with her children, Friday, December 27, 2013. She was born September 16, 1949 in Kankakee to Carl and Margaret (McClain) Puswaskis.

She graduated from Herscher High School in 1967. For several years she worked for Comcast in the customer service department.

Donna dearly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and it was known in the family that she was a phenomenal cook and baker.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Angela and Matt Howell of Kankakee, and her son and daughter in law Jim and Sara Regnier of Aroma Park, IL; six grandchildren, Brittany and Zachary LaFond, Hope, Michael, Lauren and Rachel Regnier and two great grandchildren Addyson Kay and Michael. Also surviving is her brother and sister in law James and Val Puswaskis of Tucson, Arizona. Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral home, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The celebration of life funeral service will be Friday at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Bonfield Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
