Donald L. Christiansen, age 79, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Manor Care, Kenosha. He was born in Racine, May 28, 1938, son of the late Louis and Inez (Nee: Langberg) Christiansen.

Don was a graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1956” and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Siam Transportation. Previously he was employed as a salesman with In-Sink-Erator, Knox and Yellow Freight. Don was an avid golfer and former member of the Kenosha Country Club where on his birthday a few years ago he was elated having made a hole in one. He also enjoyed cheering on the Cubs and Packers. Above all Don was a loving and caring person who was very generous to all. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Lesli Christiansen Beutel of Racine; his stepson, Sean P. Anglin of Racine; grandson, Scott R. Anglin; special friend, Judie Williquette; his 4-legged friend, Bella; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Nee: Potthoff) Christiansen.

Funeral services followed by Full Military Honors will be held at the funeral home, Sunday, June 4, 2017, 3:30 P.M. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Saturday, 2-4 P.M. and on Sunday, 2:30 P.M. until time of service at 3:30 P.M. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
