Donald Glenn

Donald W. Glen of Kalamazoo, MI, Age 87, passed away at his home. He was born in Grover Hill, OH, the son of the late Wilbur and Gehlea Glenn. On May 7, 1948 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served our country with honor until being discharged on April 16, 1952. On October 25, 1952, he married his wife of 57 years, Sharon Glenn who preceded him in passing in 2009. Together they raised four children. He worked as a county employee for more than 25 years. Don and Sharon enjoyed traveling and made many trips to Texas. They are survived by their sons, Bud (Cindy) Glenn, Roy (Margie) Glenn, Donald Glenn and Mike (Marge) Glenn; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Ginny Dowler; nieces and nephews. Don was laid to rest privately at Mt Ever-Rest Memorial Park and a memorial service may be held at a later date.
