Dennis Cronen

Dennis Roger Cronen, 74, was tragically and unexpectedly called home on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Dennis grew up in Otsego, MI, though life took him to many places, he ultimately found his way back to the Kalamazoo area. Dennis was best known for, and many remember him, as a fixture of downtown Kalamazoo, walking, handing out poems and spreading the gospel. Dennis was a very unique man who followed the Spirit with zeal. Dennis is survived by his daughters, Angela (David) Sparks and Becky (Frank) Orfin; four grandchildren; six siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Family, friends and others whose lives Dennis touched are invited to Bronson Park, 200 S. Rose St., Kalamazoo, MI, Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. for an outdoor remembrance. Casual attire is appropriate. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The River Church, 517 Walbridge St., Kalamazoo, MI, 49007. Victory: The cry of our heart is being heard. So sweet daughter of God, Rejoice! Heaven has prevailed. Darkness has failed. Rest well Servant.
