Denessa Nevaeh

Denessa Nevaeh, age 62, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully on Jan. 19th. Denessa, born on 7/25/1955 to Jean and John Nuyen. She graduated(1973) from Galesburg Augusta. Attended KVCC nursing program but was shy of completing it by one semester and later became a Nurses Aide. Her career was filled with the love, compassion & the desire to give of herself to others for many years. Her passion in life was spending time with grandchildren, being in nature, collecting Indian artifacts and playing Tetris. Preceded in death by her mother Jeanie Nuyen and grandfather Arthur Shocksnyder. She is survived by her children:Tanisha(Matt) Majewski, Deryck(Kimberly) Fries, Jason Fries, Tashina Nevaeh, Travis(Renee) Simons. Her siblings: Sheryl(Jim), Tony(Carol), and Debbie. Special people: Aunt Sharon and best friend Charlene. The loves of her life were her grandchildren: Matt Jr.,Conner and Alysa Majewski; Hannah and Celdynd Fries; Alexis and Devyn Steinacker, and Dakota Merriam; Dillon Simons. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Denessa's zest for life, love and pride for her family will live on forever
