Delores Sampsell

Sampsell, Delores, J. Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday October 2, 2021 at Brookdale of Portage. Delores was born May 2, 1928 in Detroit the daughter of Ward and Loretta (Enderich) Stone. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. On June 15, 1949 in Vicksburg Delores was united in marriage to Charles Sampsell who preceded her in death on September 17, 2008. Also preceding her are three siblings, Richard & Ralph Stone and Gladys Boucher. Surviving are four children, Philip (Gail) Sampsell of Vicksburg, Leann (Mark) Henline of Kalamazoo, Jason (LaDonna) Sampsell of Arlington, TX, Lisa (K.C.) Hunt of Portage; brother, Fred (Jeannine) Stone of South Haven; three sisters, Helen (Ken) Huckendubler of Portage, Phyllis Stanard of Richmond, VA, Patricia Lewis of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Private family services were held at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Interment was in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
