Debra Hoadley

Age 47, was a gift given to us on October 8, 1971 in Kalamazoo MI. She went to be with the Lord June 3, 2019 after a long courageously fought battle with Lupus and COPD. Debra graduated from Plainwell High and KVCC. She worked till her illness forced her to leave. She loved being with her special camping friends. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening, shopping, and riding Harley Davidsons, let's not forget about her perfect hair. Debra loved her nieces dearly, enjoyed doing things with them. She loved being with her big sister, who loves and cared for her baby sister unconditionally. She loves her big brother who loves her and always was her rescuer. She loves her parents, who love and cared for her. Thankful for the gift of life they gave her. She is survived by her father Leo (Wanda) Hoadley Sr. of Martin. Mother Joyce Loss of Kalamazoo. Sister Donna (John) Thurston of Otsego. Brother Leo Hoadley Jr of Kalamazoo. Nieces, Crystal (Randy) Crawford of Otsego, Tosha Hoadley of Illinois, Danielle Thurston of Kalamazoo, sister in law Tracie Clark, special friend Melissa Brown and several cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Al and Leota Hoadley, grandmother Louise Taylor. Aunts Carol, Mary and Agnes. A celebration of life will be held June 29, 2019 at Leo Jrs home, 5:00 pm -12:00 am. Contact family for info. Upon Debra's Request, cremation has taken place. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Kalamazoo.
