Age 61, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Kairos Dwelling. She was born on April 12, 1956 in Peoria, IL a daughter of Carl Robert and Burchie Mae (Roden) Givans and lived in Kalamazoo, MI for most of her life. Deborah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Ladies Auxiliary of Comstock VFW Post 6252. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dale Robert Givans and a granddaughter, Fiona Esman. Deborah is survived by two children, John (Tracy) Esman and Melissa Clark, all of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Eleanor Miller; four grandsons, Joseph Esman, Connor Esman, Gage Clark and Morgan Clark; a great-granddaughter, Aurora Booth; a brother, Dwight Givans ; a sister, Linda Esman; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, December 14th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1112 N. Drake Road. A reception will follow the service.
