David Zook

David Bulman Zook, age 79, of Kalamazoo, MI surrounded by his loving family, David died in his home on Thursday, April 6, 2017. David was born Feb. 12, 1938 and grew up in Bangor, Michigan. He graduated from Western Michigan University. On September 14, 1963, he married the love of his life, Karolyn Moser. He joined the Upjohn Company that same year and enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical sales and marketing. Together, he and Karolyn raised a family and cultivated lifelong friendships. Dave will be remembered for his generous spirit and his rollicking sense of humor. He was a loving husband, devoted father, joyous papa, and loyal friend to so many. David was preceded in death by his wife, Karolyn (Moser) Zook, his sister June (Zook) Stein, and his brother-in-law Ronald Moser. He is survived by daughter Lisa (Zook) Seiwert, of Chicago, son Andy Zook and daughter-in-law Sheryl (Marenger) Zook of Kalamazoo, grandchildren Kevin Seiwert, Allison (Seiwert) Hoff, Gabrielle Seiwert, Kelsey Zook, and Mackenzie Zook, sisters Bette (Zook) Stough and Nancy (Zook) Yarlott, sister-in-law Jan Moser. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service of celebration will be held in the early summer.
