David Stowitts

Mr. David M. Stowitts, aged 89, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, in 2000, and great granddaughter, Alison, in 1993. He is survived by his son, Douglas and Barbara Stowitts of Bath; daughter, Kathleen Stowitts of Grand Rapids, three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott, and Cynthia; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Tom and Linda Stowitts of California. David was a 39 year employee of GM and retired from the Diesel Equipment Division as a draftsman. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Aupperlee officiating. Interment Fairplains Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
