David Fox

Fox , David 1/16/1940 - 6/27/2021 Richland David Lee Fox passed away suddenly on June 27, 2021. He was born January 16, 1940 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ira Lee and Ruth (Bury) Fox. Dave graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He married the love of his life, Barbara Grant, on June 20, 1964. He retired from Schawk Graphics in Kalamazoo in 2005. Dave was very artistic and enjoyed painting landscape arts in his free time. He also built two wooden kayaks which he and his wife enjoyed. He loved golf and played as much as he could. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara, his daughter, Susan Fox Bradbury and son-in-law John Bradbury, his granddaughter, Alexandra Roush all of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; his son Dr. Derek B. Fox and daughter-in-law Tine Roselle Fox of Columbia, Missouri. Per Dave's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no service immediately but a celebration of Dave's life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory can be made to the Sherman Lake YMCA, the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue or a charity of your choice.
