David Carrigan

David Boyd Carrigan of Battle Creek, MI age 84, of Battle Creek and Hickory Corners, formerly of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living. He was born January 20, 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of William H. and Marion Carrigan. Dave graduated from Kellogg High School and went on to MSU where he was an enthusiastic supporter of MSU sports. He was previously married to Antoinette Beuche with this marriage ending in divorce and then Elsa "Claire" Williamson also ending in divorce. Dave enjoyed meeting people which in turn made him a successful salesman. He created the "Con-O-Sport" manufacturing company and sold products in several states. He is survived by his children, Brian K. of Cleveland, OH, David B. of Piedmont, CA and Heather M. of Los Angeles, CA; siblings, Mary K. Howie of Laguna Niguel, CA and C. Doug Carrigan of Battle Creek; and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bonnie Gryczka. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church located at 9800 E BC Avenue, Richland, MI.
