Danneasha "Dee" Reese

Formerly of Galesburg, Danneasha Elaine Reese passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 1, 2019. She was born on March 16, 1952, the daughter of the late Lurline and Millard Daniels in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She attended Galesburg-Augusta High School and graduated in 1970. After graduating, she attended Western Michigan University to become a Librarian. Dee was an avid reader and had a great interest in history, but her greatest love was being able to take care of her grandchildren and support them in all of their extracurricular activities. Above all Dee loved her family and leaves them with many wonderful memories. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Remilda and Jim Taylor; her three children: Daniel Reese, Erin (Dan) Smith, and Scott Reese; the loves of her life, her seven grandchildren: Kenny, Chloe, Reagan, Sammy, Avery, Breckin, and Lindan; her nephew Josh (Holly) Taylor and her great-nephew Robby Taylor. In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and private family services will be held at a later date.
