Daniel Young

Daniel Lee Young, age 65, of Paw Paw, MI passed away July 24, 2017 at his home. He was born April 16, 1952 in Paw Paw to the late William and Ellen (Platt) Young. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Melson) Young, three children, Laura (Tim) Terry, Clarence Young and Crystal (Jake) Shanley, five grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Michael, Ariel and Jade, one sister, Marcia (Bill) Young, one brother, Robert (Margaret) Young, his nephew Will Young and his faithful canine companion, Bella. Dan was preceded in death by his aunt, Kathryn Young. Dan graduated from Paw Paw High School class of 1970; he has been a longtime volunteer fireman with the Paw Paw Fire Department and a longtime member of Living Waters Church. Dan loved the outdoors and going camping. He enjoyed hockey and most of all, being "Papa" to his children and grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, from5-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Hatfield officiating. Burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
