Daniel Francis Mueller, age 80, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home in Crandon. Dan was born in Racine, January 3, 1938, the first of eight children of the late Francis and Germaine (Nee:Rauguth) Mueller.

Dan graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1957” and enlisted in the U.S. Army serving from 1958- 1961. He was employed at Twin Disc Inc for over 30 years retiring in 2000. Dan enjoyed traveling especially his trips to Europe and Hawaii and enjoyed rooting for his beloved Bears and Cubs. He also was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at his home in Crandon. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his siblings, Marion Mueller, Sharon (Mike) Schulz, Jerry (Anne) Mueller, Bob (Jodi) Mueller, Debbie (Pat) Murray, Susi (Paul) Hatchell; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond.

A Mass of Christian Burial followed by full military honors will be celebrated at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave, Wednesday, January 24, 2018, 12:00 P.M. Noon with Rev. Allen Bratkowski and Rev. Richard Molter concelebrating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at church from 10:30 A.M. until time of Mass. Private interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to St. Edward’s Catholic Church have been suggested.
