Corrine (Hallam) Wyman

Age 88, died on December 4, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit on January 27, 1929. She graduated from Denby High School in Detroit in 1946 and met her future husband, Robert Wyman, at Western Michigan University that fall. As a school secretary in Kalamazoo, she touched the lives of many students as well as faculty. The choir at Zion Lutheran Church is where she shared her beautiful voice. Surviving are her husband, Robert, and children, Corky (John Fisher), Marti (Larry Ulmer), and Kurt Wyman (Susan). Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy: Reid Fonger (Melissa), Judson Fonger (Nicole), Meredith Ulmer Michalsen (Brian), Corey Ulmer Nemeth (Grant), Elizabeth Ulmer, Katy Wyman, Brooke Wyman and Bronson Wyman, Caleb Fisher (Amy), Jennie Fisher, Josh Fisher and nine great-grandchildren. A service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Visitation at 10am, service at 11am, with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Zion Lutheran music department and/or Ministry With Community of Kalamazoo. Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven helped the family with arrangements.
