Claude Walter Sr.

WALTER- Mr. Claude Robert Walter Sr. aged 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann DeGroot. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosalie; children, Claude (Pam) Walter Jr. and Kimberly Sue Walter-DeBoer; grandchildren, Michael (Susan) DeBoer, Cheryl Arreola, Joseph (Jill) DeBoer, Jodi Walter-Swendrowski, Jammi Beth Walter, and Claude (Andrea) Walter III; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, 2 sisters, brother-in-law, Andy (Karol) Bowser; special friend, Richard (Gloria) DeYoung; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW.
