Christine Hubert

Christine Hubert, age 57, of Martinton, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2013 at Miller Rehabilitation Center in Kankakee. Christine was born on November 3, 1955 to Gerald and Marie (Legg) Buckman in Kankakee. She married John Hubert in February of 1982 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Kankakee. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir.

Christine is survived by her parents, Gerald and Marie Buckman of Kankakee; her brother, Gary (Carolyn) Arthur of Punta Gorda, FL; her sister, Doris (Peter Snow) Buckman of Albuquerque, NM; her three nieces, Sarah Snow, Jackie Snow and Dana Wilkey and her nephew, Daniel Buckman. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hubert and her brother, Bruce Buckman.

A gathering time for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Home’s Kankakee Chapel. Reverend Chris Sheets will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Martinton.
