Charlene Sue DeVore, age 62, of Bourbonnais, IL., passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Charlene was born on June 10, 1948 in Lincoln, IL., to William and Dorothy Nichols. On March 29, 1963 she married Louie DeVore in Lincoln, IL. Charlene had a strong Christian faith, enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, especially her grandchildren, was very outgoing, enjoyed being outdoors, shopping, country music, spending time camping at the Kankakee Sportman's Club, and her overnight special trips to see plays, shop, and visit with her dear friends Sharon Rollins, Wanda Brown, Diane Bethel, Jessie Pierson, Sue Tarbell, Phyllis Larson, and many more special dear friends. Charlene is survived by her husband Louie of Bourbonnais, IL., her children; Terry (Linda) DeVore of Bethel, OH., Tammy (Harold) Topliff of Sheldon, IL., Cheri (Jeff) Bauer of Limestone, IL., and Todd DeVore of Bourbonnais, IL., three sisters; Jeanie Farmer, Cindy (John) Travise and Lynn (Ed) Trebesch, two brothers; Charles (Bonnie) Nichols and Bill Nichols, and five grandchildren; Brett and Nicholas Topliff, Connor and Cassidy DeVore, and Rachel Bauer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law Harold and Imogene DeVore, and a grandaughter Brooke.
