Carol (Coffman) Lee

Carol E. (Coffman) Lee, age 74, of Kalamazoo passed away early May 12, 2013 after a four year battle with cancer. Carol was born September 8, 1938 in Kalamazoo to Clare E. and Loretta (Rowe) Coffman. Carol was a long time nurse's aide, working in the local area nursing homes and home health care. After retirement, Carol and her husband John enjoyed camping as often as possible, they had an annual camping site at Camp Sack-In, Angola Indiana, where they made many friends. The greatest joys in her life were her children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Carol enjoyed crafting and never passed up a great bargain. Carol is survived by her son, Jeff (Cheri) Kurtz; her step-children, Pam (Phil) Cordray, Debbie Cooper, Julie Lee and John Lee, Jr.; her sister, Cathy (Bill) Johnson; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; daughter, Kim Kurtz; and son, Scott Kurtz.
