Candy Lynn Fisher, age 38 and Michael Devon Fisher, II, age 12, died at home, Thursday, December 28, 2006.
Candy was born May 2, 1968 in Hastings, MI to Jerald and Gwendolyn K. (Spencer) Harrison. She grew up in Hastings and Ohio. Currently, Candy was the Relationship Manager in Battle Creek and Marshall for LaSalle Banks. Previously she was employed by LaSalle, as a bank manager in Marshall and Kalamazoo. She is survived by her son, Randy P. Burgdorf, Jr. of Coldwater, her daughter, Nicole M. Burgdorf and granddaughters (Nichole's daughters), Kyliyah S.L. Sango and Kimora C. Sango, all of Battle Creek; her parents Gwen and Larry Winans of Zephyrhills, FL, a sister, Tammy (Greg) Metzger of Battle Creek, two brothers, James Slagel of Hastings and William (Tammy) Harrison of Williston, FL; and her maternal grandmother, Lillian Spencer of Zephyrhills, FL.
Candy was a member of the Marshall Rotary Club, active in Chamber and civic activities and the Relay for Life. She was an avid Detroit Pistons fan and enjoyed visiting Florida and Disney World. Candy enjoyed being with her family and loved taking pictures of her family and granddaughters.
Michael was born November 25, 1994, to Candy Lynn (Harrison) and Michael Devon Fisher. Michael was a seventh grade student at W.K. Kellogg Junior High School. His favorite sport to play was basketball. He played basketball in his yard, pick-up games with his friends and was currently a member of the W.K. Kellogg Junior High Team. He enjoyed swimming and was an avid video game player. He liked clothes and shoes, and enjoyed helping his family with remodeling and carpentry projects around the home.
At the request of the family, friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where they will be received 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services to celebrate Candy and Michael's lives will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Reese Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Candy and Michael Fisher Memorial Fund through LaSalle Bank. Donations may be made at the funeral home or any LaSalle Bank.
