Brian Bleeker, age 59, of Paw Paw Brian "Shakey" Scott Bleeker was born in Kalamazoo Michigan on 7-21-1958 . He unexpectedly passed away on 02-3 18. He served his country proudly as an Army Green Beret Special Forces and brought that tenacity, pride and dedication to all the he endeavored. He enjoyed various types of hunting and fishing both alone and with the myriad of friends who shared his love of the outdoors. With his wife of 31 years, Margot Hornblower, they took a soggy piece of ground and turned it into a beautiful farm and home. He had many friends who will tell you he was a humorous practical joker, ornery at times generous and tender at others. He could be a prickly SOB with a short temper.and 20 minutes later, would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar. He was a human being fantasticflawed but lived life on his own terms until his last minutes on this Earth. He will be missed by his loving wife Margot Hornblower of 31 years, his mother Margaret Porter (Sirine). Truman Bleeker and his wife Alice. His sister Robin and her husband Gary Bleeker. His other sister Kelly Martin (Bleeker)and her husband Rob. He is survived by his niece Teaha Kay, his Nephew Sgt. Cody Shepperd, and niece Nicole "spike" Timm and another niece Ashley Martin. Brian was preceded in death by his step-father, Mel Porter. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Friday, February 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM from Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, MI.
