Beverly Whelan, age 89, of Vicksburg passed away on March 3, 2016 at the American House in Jenison. Beverly was born on January 21, 1927 to Reuland & Arlene (Studley) McCabe. Visit with her family and friends Wednesday, March 9 from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Life Story Funeral Home, Vicksburg; 409 S. Main St. (269 649-1697). Beverly’s family includes her sons: Terry (Zippy) Elan, Jeff (Julie) Whelan; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael McCabe. Beverly was an elementary music teacher for 37 years. She loved playing piano. Beverly attended the symphony whenever she could and was an active member of Texas Corners Bible Church for many years. Memorial donations can be made to Faith Hospice in Grand Rapids.
