Beverly Quakenbush

Formerly of Bangor Age 75, passed away on October 31, 2018. She was born in Lawrence, MI, on April 21, 1943, the daughter of the late Clifford and Alice (McConnohie) Adams. Beverly was a loving and kind woman who enjoyed being with others. She had a deep love for others and was giving of her time and gifts. When not working she enjoyed playing golf, bird watching and going out to eat with friends. She loved animals and was an advocate for their care. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her spouse, Carole Waite; son, Troy (Mary) Quakenbush; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan) Quakenbush, Kyle (Laura) Quakenbush, Shelbie (Nick) Quakenbush, Zac Sockol, Kaylei (Colton) Sockol, Bryson Quakenbush; a sister, Doris (Tom) Kennicott; nieces, nephews, friends; her loyal cats, "Bessie" and "Dakota." She was also preceded in passing by her former husband, Richard Quakenbush; a brother, Dale Adams. In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and private memorials will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue Project or Leisure Time Condominiums (Bequest Fund), c/o the funeral home.
