Beverly Beardsley

Beverly Jean Beardsley, 89, of Avondale, AZ, passed away on May 18, 2019 at her residence in Legacy House, Avondale, AZ. Born on December 20, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Roy Mitchell and Leta Mitchell. She married Charles Beardsley, of Comstock, MI in December of 1951 & together they shared many years of memories traveling much of the U.S. & Canada. Beverly was a 1948 graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. She enjoyed writing poetry, all things nature, gardening, music & participated in Bocce Ball in Arizona Senior Olympics. She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Adkins (Harold) of Cottonwood, AZ, & Brenda Coe of Goodyear, AZ; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; & four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Beardsley, who passed away in November of 2012; and sister, Virginia M . Young, who passed away in October of 2015. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Services & interment to be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012.
