Beverly Anson

Anson, Beverly E. Beverly E. Anson passed away peacefully in her sleep, Friday, October 14, 2022 at the age of 85. Beverly was born March 15, 1937 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Lester and Winnie (Parker) Heath. Beverly graduated from Comstock and her first job was working for the Bell Telephone Company in 1954 as a long-distance operator and trainer. She also worked for Western Union, Saginaw General Hospital, Saga Food Service and the special education services of KVISD. Later she worked for Comstock and Parchment Schools in administration and as a bus driver finally retiring after 23 years. Beverly was united in marriage to the late David Anson on August 2, 1957. Mom's daily routine was riding her bicycle around the block, stopping to talk with neighbors along the way. Beverly always liked watching Michigan football and later enjoyed playing bingo with friends. Surviving Beverly are her children David (Ruth) Anson, Jr. and Diane (Chip) Lunt; 4 grandchildren, Megan Gest, Lindsey Marantos, Morgan Gardner, and Molly Linebaugh; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Dawayne Heath; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Centrica Rose Arbor and Park Village Pines for their love and wonderful care of Beverly. A funeral service will take place Thursday, October 20 at 11:00am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002, where visitation with light refreshments will take place one hour prior from 10:00-11:00am.
