Beverlee Howell

Beverlee Ann (Silcock) Howell, age 89, of Richland, passed away Saturday morning, May 4, 2019 at the Story Point Senior Living in Portage. Beverlee was born September 21, 1929 in Cloverdale, MI to Ted and Vesta Silcock. She was raised by her mother, Vesta and her beloved step-father, Harold Hazel. Beverlee graduated from Richland High School and furthered her education at Western Michigan University. She worked as a legal secretary for many years in Kalamazoo. Beverlee married Joseph Howell on February 5, 1950; he sadly preceded her in death in 2015. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald in 1981; her parents and step-father; and three siblings, Barbara, Patricia and Tom. Beverlee is survived by her two daughters, Sue (Robert) Quick and Debra Snyder; two sons, Gary Howell and Alan Howell; a sister, Nancy Macomber; four grandchildren, Tami, David (Tiffany), Christopher (Jana) and Justin; seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Mattison, Maylin, Elise, Liana, Norah and Kaia, one great-great granddaughter, Amelia; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D. Avenue (M-89), Richland, MI 49083.
