Betty J. Stritesky, age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Ridgewood Care Center. Betty was born October 25, 1925, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Nee: Rastell) Stritesky.
Betty was employed as an assistant to various doctors in downtown Racine. She was a longtime dedicated member and volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her younger years Betty belonged to a photography club. Betty had a love for nature including caring for flowers, plants, and bird watching.
Survivors include her dear friends, Carol (Carl) Peterson, Robert Wemmert, Jean Lorenzini; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy (Joseph) Kovacs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church have been suggested.
