Beth Ann (Ginsburg) Rupert, age 67, of Sebring, FL passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL on February 4, 2018 with her family by her side. Beth was born July 29, 1950 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Herman and Isabelle (Johnstone) Ginsburg. She married David DeMott in August of 1968; he preceded her in death in March of 1969. Beth was united in marriage to Phillip Rupert on March 3, 1972. Beth graduated from Lakeview High School in 1968. Beth and Phil later moved to Richland, MI, Colorado City, CO and Sebring, FL. She owned a daycare in Richland, MI for many years, and was a member of Temple Beth El in Battle Creek. Beth loved the lake life and enjoyed traveling with her husband. They traveled to Hawaii, Rome, Jamaica, Bahamas, Virgin Islands and Mexico. Beth enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to have a good time, her laugh always entered the room first. Beth battled many illnesses, she was extremely courageous. Beth is survived by her husband of 45 years, Phillip; her daughter, Jackie (Jeff) Schulstrom of West Melbourne, FL; and her son, Phillip (Kylie) Rupert of Castle Pines, CO. She is also survived by her step-children, Marcus Rupert and Nicole Rupert of Battle Creek; her sister, Sandy (Dennis) VanMiddlesworth; her brother, Mike (Lynne) Ginsburg; her grandchildren, Bethany, Brooke, Brianna, Ella, Jaxon, Marie, and Riley; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Isabelle; her brother, Jack; and her beloved son, Joshua. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870-6222 or to the charity of your choice.
