Buck, Berniece A. Kalamazoo, Michigan Berniece A. Buck, age 89 of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Glenn Arbor Hospice. She was born in Tomah, Wisconsin on February 28, 1932, to the late Lee and Thelma (Champlin) Pringle. Berniece married Albert E. Buck on June 7, 1952, in Kalamazoo. She took great pride in being a homemaker, having a strong devotion to and much love for her family. In retirement Berniece and Al traveled much of the continental Unites States and also enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Germany and Scandinavia. Mrs. Buck was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Savior and enjoyed being a volunteer at the church. Berniece was a longtime member of Borgess Fitness Center. Surviving Berniece are her loving husband of 69 years, Albert, her children; David (Linda) Buck of Kalamazoo, Ronald (Robin) Buck of Appleton, Wisconsin, and daughter-in-law Debbie Buck-Monroe (Cal) of Arizona, her grandchildren; Jessica (Josh), Heather (Jason), Michael (Michelle), and Kara (Kevin), great-grandchildren; Evangeline, Fletcher and Claire, half-sister Judy Pringle Pollak (Harry) and half-brother Leroy Pringle, and caring nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy, grandson, Ryan, and siblings; Camilla Schuldt, Lloyd Pringle, Geraldine Goodman and Kenneth Pringle. Family and friends are invited to visitation at 10:00 AM on September 14th at the Lutheran Church of the Savior 3616 E. G Ave. Kalamazoo, MI. A service will follow at 11:30 AM with Pastor Nikki Smith officiating. The church has a mandatory mask policy for attendees. Interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Berniece may be made to Lutheran Church of the Savior, 3616 E G Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49004 or Hospice of SW Michigan, 7100 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
