Bernard “Bud” J. Wade, age 73, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Racine, August 13, 1944, son of the late Walton and Lillian (Nee: Eppers) Wade.

During the Vietnam War he proudly served in the United States Army. On January 6, 1972 in Waukegan, IL, he was united in marriage to Myrtle “Myrt” H. Lonergan. Bud was employed by Famco Machine Company for twenty years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the American Legion Post 494 Caledonia. Bud was a huge NASCAR fan who also enjoyed old cars, fishing, oldies especially Crosby, Stills & Nash, and watching the Green Bay Packers.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of forty-six years, Myrt; his children, Jeff Wade (Annette Hughes), Susan (Jimmie) Fondon; his eight grandchildren, Jayda, Kameron, Keira, Jalen, Jaden, Kassie, Hayle, and Abbie; sister, Rosemary Harbach; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Duke (Faye) Lonergan, Pat Lonergan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wally (Mary) Wade, Ronnie (Nancy) Wade, Jim (Pat) Wade and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M.
