Barbara MacIntosh

Barbara Ann MacIntosh (nee MacDonald), age 87, of Aurora, OH, formerly of Southern Pines, NC passed away Monday, February 3, 2020. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late James Roger MacIntosh and Marshall Eugene Beatty; loving mother of Cynthia (William) Jepson of Twinsburg, OH, Marcia (Russell) Baugh of Traverse City, MI, Cathleen (Robert) Senter of Fuquay Varina, NC and Lynda (John) Schuen of Rockford, MI; devoted grandmother and great grandmother of many; and dear sister of the late Marcia Kerr. Barbara married her loving husband James MacIntosh in 1951 and shared 49 years of a blessed life together. She never met a stranger, always found her seat at bridge table, and was happy to share her time as a volunteer in the hospital and at local golf tournaments. Her days in Southern Pines were cherished ones and her friends in Penick Village were always close at heart. The past year of her life was spent at The Atrium in Aurora where she made many many friends who will miss her smiling face and spunky attitude. Her greatest joy was her family; and she will forever fill the hearts of those fortunate enough to call her Mom, Grandma, and Gigi.
