Anna Bayes

Age 80, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018. Anna was born in Kalamazoo on July 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Peter J. and Anna J. (Munson) Robyn. On June 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Walter Sharp who preceded her in death in 1980. Anna is survived by her children, Timothy (Cindy) Sharp, Steven (Tammy) Sharp, Larry (Beth) Sharp, Elizabeth (Don) Smeal, Penny Sharp and Lori (Pat) Fredericks; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Peter, Jr. and John (Louise) Robyn and many nieces and nephews. Anna is also preceded in death by her second husband, Forrest "Frank" Bayes. Anna loved sewing and crocheting, but above all else, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed a sporting event and enjoyed hosting family and friends at her cottage in Peacock, Michigan. Anna, like her mother, was an avid and passionate reader, often finishing books in just one day. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Boughton Cemetery in Scotts, MI on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
