Andrew Patrick Knerr, age 48, went home to his heavenly Father on Nov. 11, 2017 at the McCall Hospice House of Greenville, South Carolina. Andy was born on May 11, 1969 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Robert G. Knerr and Carol B. Knerr. He grew up playing baseball, soccer and he loved to draw. Andy attended Kalamazoo Christian Schools, the Atlanta College of Art, and the University of Georgia at Athens. He was a life long learner. North American Indians caught his attention and he began studying their lives and culture. He corresponded with several of the chiefs, including Black Elk, and did extensive drawings of their culture and portraits. Andy is survived by his wife Michelle (Donnahue); mother-in-law Sarah Rich; sister-in-law Sandra (Doug) McCreight; mother Carol Fowler; step-father Al Fowler; brother Chris (Paige) Knerr; niece Lucy; nephews Fisher and Will; uncle John (Lil) Bryant; aunt Susan Bryant; and cousins Jeff and Adam Bryant.
