Andrea Oxley

Oxley, Andrea Kalamazoo Age 70, passed away on April 15, 2021. Andrea was born in Grant, MI, on June 20, 1950, the daughter of Henry and Josephine (Phillips) Thomas. After graduating from high school, Andrea went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University. On October 13, 1973, she married Alan Oxley and together they recently celebrated 47 years of marriage. Andrea was a very spiritual woman who loved God with all her heart and was a member of Vigilant Church of God. She was blessed with an amazing voice and spent many years as a singer/song writer for her church. Andrea loved wholesome cooking, gardening, nature and created her own backyard wildlife habitat with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Alan Oxley, as well as their son and daughter-in-law, Garrick (Larissa) Oxley of Wadsworth, OH. Among other family members who will dearly miss Andrea are her sisters, Josephine (John) Kirkbride, Jeanne Thomas, Robin (Doug) Wohlberg, Karla (Howard) Solomon; and her brother, Henry Thomas; as well as her sister-in-law, Shirley (Louis) Thompson; and several nieces and nephews whom Andrea dearly loved.
