Belcher, Altha M. Kalamazoo, MI Altha passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. She was born April 10, 1940 in Otsego, the daughter of Harold and Ethel (Emery) Laws. For many years Altha worked as a rehab tech at Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw. She also did in home childcare. Altha loved taking care of her family and her home. She was a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church and St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Lawton. On December 15, 1956 she married Burdett "Sonny" Belcher who passed away in 2018. Surviving are her sons, Jeffery (Marjorie) Belcher and Scott (Heather) Belcher; 3 granddaughters, Courtney, Maureen and Zoe along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brothers. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Altha's life will take place in the spring.
