Passed away Sunday evening, February 16, 2020 at his home. Allen was born September 21, 1931 in Schoolcraft, MI the son of the late Allen and Lucy (Barnell) Wiley. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 41 years with James River Paper. Allen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was very active and volunteered with the food bank. He enjoyed fishing, camping, casino trips, and spending time with his family and friends. On June 28, 1952 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Loretta (Lowe) who preceded him in death on January 13, 2009. Allen was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Brian and Dennis; a brother, Matt Wiley; and a sister, Barbara Cross. He is survived by his children, Bonnie Johnson, Kenneth Wiley, Chris (Carolyn) Wiley, Tim (Susanne) Wiley, Scott Wiley, Theressa (Jeff) Jackson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, February 20 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 145 W. Battle Creek St, Galesburg, MI 49053 and from 1:00-2:00pm Friday, February 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm.
