Age 75, of Kalamazoo, MI went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 19. He was at home, surrounded by family. Born on March 3, 1945 in Evanston, IL to Allen (Sally) Bellware. United in marriage to Dianna Miller on June 28, 1969. Survived by wife of 51 years, Dianna (Miller) Bellware, children Lisa (David) Trumbull, Jim (Kristine) Bellware, and Brian (Nicole) Bellware, twenty-seven grandchildren plus one on the way, and close cousins, Jack (Gloria) Bellware and Joanne Lucas. Preceded in death by parents Allen (Sally) Bellware. Allen obtained his masters degree at Western Michigan University, then served 2 years in the United States Army as First Lieutenant. He was a marketing professional for First National Bank and Bangor Cooler, before beginning his own business as an restaurant equipment representative and retiring in 2014. He enjoyed golf, sailing & boating, camping, and attending a variety of kids and grandkids activities, such as sports, band concerts, and musicals. He became an incredible home chef and thoroughly enjoyed trying different recipes and sharing meals with his family and friends. He was a long-time attender of Calvary Bible Church and also served in ministry as a bible study discussion leader for both BSF and CBS. Allen's long-term friendships with Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity brothers, the neighborhood gang, and from his church were amongst those relationships he most cherished, but what made him the most happy is his family. Visitation for Allen will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 4 p.m until 7 p.m. at Langeland Family Funeral Home, 622 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007. Visitation will continue Thursday at Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Rd. Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009, from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required.The family would like to thank the Veteran's Affairs Memory Care Unit in Battle Creek, Ascension Hospice Care and Visiting Angels.
