Pastor Al Schreuder, 69, passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Pella, IA. Pastor Al served as an ordained pastor and missionary in the Reformed Church of America for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Sue (Van Dyke) Schreuder; four children and their spouses: Rebecca and Rogelio Gomez of Pella, Jennifer and Chris Dykstra of Fort Worth, TX, Angela and Jason Van Gorp of Pella, Michael and Mary Schreuder of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren; and siblings: Lois and Paul Strong of Naperville, IL, Mary and Harry Disselkoen of Hudsonsville, MI, and Rea (Paul) Schreuder of Kalamazoo, MI. Funeral services, August 4 at 10:30 am, First Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa. Visitation will begin Friday, family present from 4 to 7 pm at First Reformed Church. In memory of Missionary Al Schreuder memorial contributions are suggested and encouraged for Words of Hope, the ALS Association of Iowa or Juan R. Kemper Seminary, Chiapas, Mexico.
