Kenneth Kerkau

Ken passed away Saturday morning, October 13, 2012, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born June 11, 1937 in Bay City, MI the son of the late Richard and Genevieve (Koik) Kerkau. Ken was employed by General Motors in Kalamazoo as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino. On December 31, 1981 in Bay City, MI, Ken was united in marriage to Nancy Carol Irving who preceded him in death on October 11, 2007. He was also preceded in death by a son, Rick J. Kerkau. Surviving are eight children, Kenneth Kerkau, Cheryl Kerkau, Debra Kerkau, Christopher Kerkau, Constance Kerkau, Terrence Kerkau, Karen Kerkau and Erick Kerkau; three step-children, Kathy (Robert) Taber, David (Stephanie) Moore and Laurie (Tony) Changaris; three brothers, Hubert, James and John Kerkau; many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. As per Ken's request, there will no visitation or services and cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
