Gary Bigler

BIGLER, GARY 9/18/43 - 8/9/12 Gary Bigler, a kind, generous and fun loving man passed on Thursday, August 9, 2012 to the smell of his favorite, chocolate chip cookies. Born September 18, 1943, Gary lived a nontraditional life full of adventure and love. To hear him speak of his life was both intriguing and amusing as he always found a way to make everyone laugh. Life brought him to many places, but his heart was always with his children, Michele and Brian. Michele was with him in his final days, bringing him peace and joy. Taken from him young in life, Gary's spirit has found its way to Brian once again. Gary's warmth, generosity and sense of humor drew people to him and he was fortunate to have many close friends who were there for him during his darkest hours as well as times of happiness. Each of those friends will hold their memories of Gary in their hearts forever. Continuing his generosity into death, he has donated his body to medical science to help further research that will hopefully save many lives in the future. A private gathering of family and friends will be held to honor the life and love of such a wonderful man.
