Charlotte De Vries, age 87, of Zeeland, passed away, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Hospice House of Holland.
Charlotte was a member of the Zeeland Literary Club and a volunteer at International Aid. She was a member of Oakland Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jay Van Dam (1999), Gordon De Vries (2008); and grandson, Brian Van Dam (1973).
She is survived by her children, Gloria Boerman of Zeeland, Ron and Bonnie Van Dam of Zeeland, Jan Telgenhof of Flint, Howard and Cathy Van Dam of Newaygo, Carl and Beth Van Dam of Zeeland; 13 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; six stepchildren; several stepgrandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at Oakland Christian Reformed Church, 4452 38th Street, Hamilton. Officiating will be Dr. Paul Bremer. Burial will be in Bentheim Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
