Jerome "JD" Doorn

DOORN - Jerome "JD" Doorn, aged 73, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He retired from Frito-Lay after more than 30 years of dedicated service, and was a member of Neal Fonger Post #179. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Doorn; his brother and best friend, Merriel Doorn. Jerome will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cinda and Scott Raymond, Jack Doorn, Brenda Doorn, and Kevin; his children's mother, Arlene; granddaughters, Shawn Moore, Donielle Moore, Kathryn Ann Doorn; six great-grandchildren; father, Ernest Doorn; sisters and brother, Sharon and Allie Nielsen, Marcia Looman, Greg and Laurie Doorn; many extended family members and his golfing buddies. Funeral services will be held Friday 3:00 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert, officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
