Emel Abla

Passed away peacefully in his sleep, Tuesday, May 9, 2006. He was born December 29, 1936 in Detroit, MI the son of Nicholas and Nariza (Manassa) Abla and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lewis Abla. Emel is survived by his children, Keith (Mary) Abla of Kalamazoo, Nariza (Mike) Mc Kee of Tampa, FL, Nicholas (Susan) Abla of Milford, OH, and Leah Abla and her life partner, Joni Vest of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Aaron Abla, Jordan McKee, Jesse Mc Kee, Nicole Abla, Sydney Vest and Sander Vest; a brother, Victor Abla of Dearborn; and two special nephews, Victor Abla and Timothy (Amanda) Abla. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday in the Richland Bible Church, 8643 Gull Road, with Pastor Sam Befus officiating.
