Zeke McAfee

Zeke A. McAfee, age 40, of Galesburg, MI gently and quietly slipped into the arms of his beloved Savior early this morning, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 40. He was born January 4, 1976 in Kalamazoo to Michael and Janet (Clark) McAfee. Zeke was united in marriage to Erin Armstrong on October 7, 2006. Zeke was a family man who loved his family, with a special deep love for his children. Among Zeke's many interests included woodworking, video games and anything related with electronics or computers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and family. Zeke is survived by his wife, Erin McAfee; children, Zoe and Noah; stepson, Shane; his parents, Janet McAfee and Mike (Edie) McAfee; in-laws, Ron (Denise) Armstrong; stepsister, Ryanne (Brett) Wicks, sister-in-law, Angie (Eric) Wing; grandmother, Joyce McAfee; numerous aunts and uncles; and his best friend, Chris Fankhauser. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 20th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. The family will also greet friends on Saturday, May 21st, from 10-11:00am at Third Christian Reformed Church, 2400 Winchell Ave., Kalamazoo, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Pastor Ken Baker will officiate. A private interment will be in Schoolcraft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Zeke's name may be directed to his children's education fund (through Kuiper's Insurance Company) or to Kalamazoo-Battle Creek Autism Society.
